Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 2026 · iDuno Platform

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing, initializing a room, purchasing a pass, or using iDuno (“the Service”, “the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use guidelines. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using the Service immediately.

2. Scope of Service

iDuno provides ephemeral communication infrastructure designed for temporary, browser-based messaging without permanent archives. The Service facilitates client-side cryptographic exchange and transmits blind ciphertext payloads via volatile memory.

3. Lawful & Authorized Use

You agree to use iDuno solely for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using the Service to:

  • Commit, coordinate, promote, or conceal unlawful criminal activity;
  • Threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, traffic, or defraud individuals;
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, or execute unauthorized network attacks;
  • Infringe upon intellectual property, privacy, or human rights.

4. Temporary Nature & Non-Recovery

Communication content is governed strictly by the selected expiration lifecycle (e.g., 10 minutes default, up to 24 hours under Pro pass). Once content expires or is dissolved, it is irreversibly purged from memory buffers. iDuno maintains no archives, backups, or recovery mechanisms to reconstruct expired conversations.

5. Absence of Recipient Control

While iDuno prevents server-side retention, no electronic platform can prevent a recipient from taking screenshots, photographs, or external recordings of their own device screen. Users must exercise independent judgment regarding whom they communicate with.

6. Pro Burner Passes & Billing

Pro Burner Passes are unlinked bearer tokens providing access to extended room lifetimes and expanded participant limits. Passes are processed via third-party billing providers. Fees earned for active pass periods are non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer law.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IDUNO IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE PLATFORM AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
